| I was born in Jamaica and
I grew up in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church at Granville, St. James. My
mother and grandmother were the ones who instilled moral standards and
Christian lifestyles in my sisters and me. At a very young age I was active
in various church activities, and at the age of 8, I was baptized. After
high school, I attended nursing school in Kingston.
Shortly after finishing nursing school, I migrated to the U.S. where the S.D. A. Church of the Oranges has been my home church. I have been at one time a choir member, assistant AY leader, and helped in the cradle roll division. God has blessed me, and for this I give him praise. He has given me a wonderful husband and two beautiful children, Huan and Diedra. As the years went by, I decided to attend Kean University to further my studies. In May, 2008 I graduated with MSN/MPA degrees. If it were not for God I could not have accomplished this. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" and " seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you" have been my sources of strength. I am currently a Patient Care Coordinator at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston NJ. My hobbies are cake decorating and reading.
