Daniel Hutchinson, one of the many young people who attend the Church of the Oranges, is a member of the Irvington High School graduating class of 2008 and will be attending Harvard University in the fall. Actively involved in his school, he served on the staff of the school paper and wrote for his school’s yearbook, The Morellian. Other activities of his have included two internships in the office of the Hon. Wayne Smith, mayor of Irvington Township, a term on the Religious Liberty Committee of the Church of the Oranges, and membership in Irvington Diplomats and Scholars, a career mentorship program. As a rising college freshman, he desires to pursue a concentration in Government with a minor in Economics or Spanish. Ultimately, it is his desire to concentrate in the field of international relations and to work as an analyst or a Foreign Service officer. His interests (which are a propos for a young man interested in international affairs) include reading, traveling, and studying foreign languages. Daniel attributes his success to the blessings of God, the support of his family, and hard work. He is the son of Arlene and David Hutchinson, and has one younger sister, Ashley.
